Bringing a new puppy home is an exciting moment but it’s also a time of big change for both you and your new arrival. Our Puppy Preparation service gives you practical strategies to make the transition smooth and stress-free, while helping your puppy settle confidently into their new home.

Led by Kathryn McRobb CAB, a fully qualified APBC Clinical Animal Behaviourist, this service covers everything you need to know before and after your puppy’s arrival.

What We Cover

Setting up your home for your puppy’s arrival
Toilet training foundations
Sleep routine foundations
Crate training and safe spaces
Managing nipping, chewing, jumping up and puppy issues
Building an early daily routine
Info on how to set up safe early socialisation and how to introduce your puppy to new experiences

Package 1 – Online and In Person

1 x 1-hour prep session (before arrival) at our Comber clinic or online
Includes handouts
1 x 1-hour clinic or online session when your puppy 1st arrives (practical training and management advice included)
Ability to ask questions after your puppy arrives via what’s app and email for 2 weeks

Package 2 – Home Visits

1 x 60-minute home visit to prepare (before arrival)
Includes handouts
1 x 60-minute home visit (after arrival)
Ability to ask questions via what’s app and email after your puppy arrives for 2 weeks
